GAC relocates its offices in Taouyah

Guinea Alumina Corporation, a major player in the mining sector in Guinea, is proud to announce that on 18th May 2018, it is moving its offices to Taouyah district, Ratoma commune, (not far from the mining bridge, and near the office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights).

GAC’s new offices will offer a more adequate and work-friendly environment for its Conakry-based employees, and in addition, this new building can easily accommodate colleagues from other sites that are rotating into-and-out of the capital. Employees, who mostly live in the suburbs, can now quickly travel to-and-from the office, and avoid the problems of heavy and unpredictable traffic. Our new offices are conveniently located to facilitate the commute of our workforce.

At all times, GAC’s priority remains the safety, health and wellbeing of all its staff, customers and clients, and this new office enables us to fulfill this noble aspiration of GAC.

Aissata Béavogui, General Manager of GAC said that: “In respond to the increase of our workforce, it was necessary for GAC to move to larger offices. These new offices will be able to accommodate not only the hundred or so GAC employees presently working in Conakry, but also the staff of our other two sites, who frequently rotate into the capital.”
