The company, Guinea Alumina Corporation SA (GAC), is pleased to announce its participation in the Guinea Mines Symposium, for its first edition in May 2017. The theme for this year is Mining Sector - The Transformation Lever of national economy for the benefit of all participants.
This annual event, which will take place on May 9th, 10th, and 11th at a hotel complex in Conakry Square, will bring together dozens of participants and experts (both from Guinea and abroad) in the mining sector, who will examine and discuss issues of utmost importance to the Guinean mining industry. This will include discussing potential, challenges, assets, opportunities, and making concrete recommendations to boost the sector and thus the entire national economy.
Mrs. Diallo Aissata Beavogui, General Manager of GAC said, "GAC is very proud to be one of the official sponsors of this great event in the mining sector. Our decision to support this initiative is fully in line with our desire to contribute to the socioeconomic development of Guinea through this sector.
